Our Story
Birdie. started whilst enjoying a round of golf with a few mates during university. We all enjoy playing, and are all up for a drink afterwards.
Getting to the bar to find the ‘average’ pub lagers on tap was getting a bit repetitive, and I thought this needed to change. Golf deserves its own drink, something that everyone can enjoy, so why not make a lager that’s one better than the rest?

Where it all started…

What started as an idea on the golf course, started coming to life in a Travelodge bedroom whilst working for an events company. This is where I designed the first mock-up of the Birdie. website to see what it would look like, in a trial version before committing to paying. I had no experience in website design so had no idea what would catch the eye of customers etc… just trial and error. From here on, I started speaking to breweries and those who have been successful in this industry to design my next steps to launching Birdie.
